Common Fire Engineering Questions
When is a fire engineering report required? A fire engineering report may be required where a building design proposes an alternative to the Deemed-to-Satisfy provisions of the National Construction Code (NCC).
What is a Performance Solution? A Performance Solution is an alternative method of demonstrating NCC compliance through engineering analysis, risk assessment and other approved assessment methods.
How long does it take to prepare Performance Solutions? Performance Solutions can be developed for straight forward and technical compliance issues, or they are more complex requiring co-ordination and thorough stakeholder reviews. Do you work on existing buildings? Yes. Nero Engineering provides fire safety audits, MBS 001 assessments and fire safety compliance reviews for existing buildings.
